Thank you for your interest in our honey and our bees! This policy outlines how we handle getting our products from our farm to your home. Please note that we have different procedures for our honey products versus our live honey bees.

For standard honey and other farm store products, we ship via common carriers. This page primarily details the special handling procedures for our Live Honey Bee Nucs and Queens.

Live Honey Bee Nucs & Queens

Due to the delicate nature of live bees, they require special handling and cannot be shipped via standard mail. Here are your options for receiving your bees.

Nuc Pickup (North Texas)

The standard method for receiving your Nuc is to pick it up directly from our farm. This ensures the bees have the shortest possible transit time.

Nuc Delivery (Orders of 10 or More)

We will deliver orders of 10 or more Nucs to a single location. This minimum can be met by a single buyer or multiple buyers coordinating to take delivery at the same address. The price of $295 per Nuc includes a $15 transport fee for this service.

*Please check with us before organizing a group buy, as we may already have a delivery scheduled for your area that you can join.

South Texas Delivery

For our Austin area customers, Nucs will be delivered to our designated staging location in Georgetown, TX.

  • Tentative Target Delivery Date: Early to Mid-April 2026.

General Nuc Availability & Timing

Nucs for North Texas pickup and delivery will generally be available in early to mid-April 2026. We will contact all customers with a specific availability date in late March 2026 to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.

VSH Queens

We maintain a small inventory of the same high-quality VSH queens used in our own Nucs, which we provide exclusively for our Nuc customers.

  • We do not ship queens.
  • Customers should plan to pick up their queens at our Anna, TX location, or we can deliver them at the same time we make Nuc deliveries.
