Honey & Other Farm Products
Damaged or Incorrect Items
We take great care in packaging your order. If your order arrives damaged, or if we sent you the wrong item, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your delivery. To help us resolve this for you as quickly as possible, please email us with the following information:
- Your full name and order number.
- A brief description of the issue.
- A photo of the damaged or incorrect item and its packaging.
Once we receive your email, we’ll be happy to arrange for a replacement to be sent to you at no cost or issue a full refund for the affected item.
Our Policy on Honey Returns
Due to the nature of honey as a food product, and for health and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for opened jars or for reasons of personal taste preference. All honey and other consumable products are final sale.
A Note on Crystallization
It is natural for raw honey to crystallize over time—it’s a sign of high-quality, authentic honey! It does not mean the honey has gone bad. If your honey has crystallized, you can easily return it to a liquid state by placing the jar in a warm water bath and stirring gently.
Live Honey Bee Nucs & Queens
Our 7-Day Nuc Guarantee
We are committed to providing you with healthy, productive colonies. Prior to distribution, we personally inspect each Nuc to confirm it contains approximately four frames of brood (eggs, larva & pupae), a laying queen, and two frames of honey with a healthy population of adhering bees.
We provide a 7-day warranty from the date you take possession of the Nuc. If you find your Nuc is non-performing (e.g., queenless, no evidence of new eggs after 3-4 days), we will offer either a replacement Nuc or a full refund.
Claims for a replacement or refund must be received within the 7-day warranty period. Please contact us immediately if you suspect an issue with your Nuc.
VSH Queens
Queens are confirmed to be healthy and laying upon pickup or delivery. However, due to the many variables involved in queen introduction and hive acceptance that are beyond our control, all queen sales are final.
General Refund Information
If a refund is approved for any product, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, as processing times can vary between payment providers.
